2015 is the 10th year of the Noise Singapore Festival and this year they’re having a series of exhibitions and concerts by emerging artists and musicians in Singapore until the 8th November. They are all free to attend and there’s plenty to choose from including a Festival Exhibition in Ion shopping centre, concerts at Esplanade Outdoor Theatre and Fort Canning Park as well as some other exhibitions in venues across town.
Noise Festival Exhibition in Ion Basement 4
Last week I managed to stop by the Festival Exhibition in Ion which is a collection of art, design, photography and music from Noise Singapore’s annual Open Categories submissions of fresh young talent. It covers the entire event space in Basement 4 of Ion and the exhibition is based on what young people have to say about the world around them. The exhibition has some interesting pieces and is well worth a visit if you’re around the area.

The Noise Festival also have some goodie bags available for those who Like their Facebook page and stop by either the Noise Festival exhibition in Ion (up until the 11th October) or the Noise Alumni Concerts & Arts Market at Fort Canning Park (30th and 31st October only) and show the Facebook page to one of the assistants at the festival. The goodie bags contain some Noise goodies and also stuff from some of their partners but there are only a limited number daily.
