Piing Dry Cleaning Delivery Review Singapore

I’ve used a couple of different dry cleaners in Singapore including Presto and Jeeves and a few dry cleaning delivery services before and I’ve been very happy with the service provided by both Presto and Jeeves but as they are on the pricier end of the scale I’d been looking for another dry cleaners which is when I discovered Piing. Piing is a dry cleaning delivery service and prices start at only $2! They provide free collection and delivery no matter the number of items you get dry cleaned and you can “Piing” them to collect your order within the hour or schedule it for a later date and/or time. Your clothes are then returned to you after 3 working days or if it’s urgent you can pay more to have it delivered the next day which still works out cheaper than other dry cleaning services.

Using Piing is very simple, you can either install their app on your phone or order through their website. I installed their app on my phone and you can register with either your email or a Facebook login. After that I scheduled for the Piing driver to come and collect my clothes later on in the evening when I would be at home. The driver that came – Fabian, was friendly and efficient. He arrived within the one hour time slot that I had requested for collection and he provided a bag for me to place my clothes in. Three working days later he came back during my requested time slot with my clothes which were on hangers in plastic wrapping and neatly stored in a suit bag. Payment can be made in cash or in advance by card. The whole process from when you first place your order until your laundry is delivered back to you can be tracked on the app or website and you also receive regular updates via text message to your phone. I was extremely happy with the service I received from Piing, my clothes were perfectly dry cleaned and came back to me crease-free with no odour, definitely the best dry cleaning delivery service I’ve used so far in Singapore and comparable to the service received at Presto and Jeeves but much cheaper! It only cost $4.95 for a pair of shorts and $10 for a dress to be dry cleaned.

I’ll definitely be using Piing again for my future dry cleaning needs. I like how the Piing app also allows you to rate your delivery driver and Piing experience as it shows that customer service is important to them unlike a lot of other dry cleaning delivery services here that I won’t go into right now. Definitely 5 stars for Piing!

If you haven’t used Piing before then you can get $15 off your first order with them using the code STELIK and there’s no minimum order required. Happy Piing! 🙂

Hope you’ve enjoyed my review of Piing dry cleaning, please feel free to leave a comment below with your own review or if you have any questions!

You may consider Laundrycares beside prompt delivery, good dry cleaning service, and very helpful customer service staff

Well I will be avoiding these guys for ever!!

The Driver turned up without a bag and proceeded to lose a pair of suit trousers. Piing were totally unresponsive, using delaying tactics and not replying to emails andwhen I escalated they finally offered a negate $49.50 compensation…. for an $800 suit???? Now refusing to respond. Avoid these guys!!!

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO TAKE THE RISK AND SEND YOUR LAUNDRY TO SUCH PEOPLE? Go to their FB page and check out the numerous complains from other EX-CUSTOMERS.

    5MAY2018:
Sent 4 sets of business suits for dry cleaning.
    Order #99747

    9MAY2018:
    All suits returned after cleaning

    23MAY2018:
Removed 1 set of suit out from plastic cover (from Piing) to wear and discovered tear on left sleeve.

Informed Piing via email of damage with photos attached.

    23MAY2018 (same day):
Piing (Mr Raj) replies with an apology and requests that I allow them to pick up the suit again to investigate/review.

    24MAY2018:
Piing picks up damaged suit jacket.

    28MAY2018:
Piing returns jacket with an attached note indicating that I had sent in a damaged jacket, noting the same tear on left sleeve that I had brought to their attention.

I immediately write to Piing (Raj) to complain about this.

    31MAY2018:
Laundry Team Mgr Ren Hao replies via email to “apologise if such inconvenience is indeed caused by Piing” but “refute your claims on this matter and deem not true to be caused by launderer” because Piing “are dry cleaning all jackets with the garment overturned inside out hence such small holes cannot occur during our dry cleaning process.”

In fact, “Since these sleeve holes are commonly induced by watches, bracelets and cigarette flint or wall to garment contact with abrasive action.” and “these cases are everyday signs of natural garment wear and tear sent in by other customers, Piing will not reject garments for processing due to minor embellishment concerns.”

Out of “goodwill” Ren Hao offers to “refund you $13.95 in Piing credits to your account for 2 piece suit dry cleaning.”

    31MAY2018 (same day):
I replied to Ren Hao that their offer of $13.95 is not acceptable. Furthermore, i am upset that they had not even given a sincere apology.

My suit is a brand new HUGO BOSS that was worn for the first time before being sent to Piing. And it had cost over a thousand dollars.

    5JUN2018:
Ren Hao replies, without admitting fault nor offering an apology, that “Piing will compensate you strictly as per terms and condition of service upon registration of account with Piing.” which is up to 10x the cost o the dry clean service, in Piing credits.

He also threw the clause in my face, quoting “9.3.4 Our liability, with respect to damaged items, shall be limited to the fair value of depreciation, taking into account wear and tear, age, fashion and use, or not exceeding ten (10) times the cost of cleaning, whichever is lower, regardless of brand or condition.”

    Terrible service-Piing !!!
Avoid using them. I have never seen such a terrible laundry service before.
Stain is still on clothes and they claim if I want it to be washed properly, it has to be charged more by piece. To me, there is no quality of their services at all and the Driver expected me to go down to take back my clothes when it rained coz he claimed that he does not have umbrella. Bravo !!!
Keep this up and your company will shut down very soon as they are so many laundry services provider around.

The WORST experience ever using a Dry Cleaning service. They lost my $1,200 skirt, and admitted it was displaced in the process of delivery. But post that, they avoided and did not respond to any of my messages, nor provided any follow up in terms of updates or any compensation. It has been 3 weeks, and despite my emails, calls or messages, no one has responded. DO NOT USE PIING!!!

I will never ever use them. They ruined my $400 carpet! Collected on 2nd Jan and was delivered without the non-slip matt, with tiny pebbles. Collected back after more than a week to ‘fix it’, after my non-stop follow ups. It came back in April! Without the non-slip mat still and now, I cant even use it cause my kids will slip if they stand or run around it. Terrible service, not worth it, and damages products without regret. I do not understand why after so many bad reviews, and they are still doing the same thing that theyve done years back. Experts they claim as them but not at all. Avoid if you can and dont do the same mistake I did (not reading reviews beforehand) and trusting the process. Sad.
