Boutique Fairs Singapore 2015

Last Saturday I decided to pay a visit to the biannually held Boutique Fairs Singapore held in the F1 Pit Building to see if I could get some early Christmas shopping done. The Boutiques Fair Singapore has been running for over 14 years and it’s where you can find over a hundred independent brands based in Singapore selling everything from women’s fashion and jewellery to children’s toys and home décor.

It was held over two days on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th November and my friend and I got there early on Saturday morning to try to beat the crowds. When we arrived it was already quite buzzing, with floaty summer kaftans seemingly very popular.

A lot of the stuff on offer were handicrafts lovingly made by expat designers. There were some quite cool and unique jewellery pieces and some cute boxes and bowls made out of recycled paper that caught my eye.

All in all it was quite a fun shopping experience, definitely worth checking out especially if you’re into one-off pieces and shopping on Etsy. You could even bring the kids along as there was a place set up where you can paint your own Elephant Parade elephant which I would have loved to have done myself but unfortunately didn’t have enough time!
