Tokutokuya Japanese Two Dollar Shop Singapore – Great Alternative To The Daiso

Tokutokuya is a two dollar store from Japan which has a branch in Changi City Point shopping mall as well as one in the more centrally located Suntec City shopping mall near City Hall and Esplanade MRT which opened earlier this year. I’ve never been to the branch in Changi City Point but I decided to pay the Suntec City branch a visit last weekend. This branch of Tokutokuya is located just next to Giant supermarket in the basement of the north wing of Suntec City. It’s pretty big and stocks a good variety of cosmetics, kitchenware, tableware, gardening products, electrical accessories, stationary, craft supplies, toys, Japanese food and snacks.

The range of goods in Tokutokuya is different from what is stocked in the Daiso so it’s a great alternative Japanese two dollar shop. It carries products from 100 yen shops in Japan such as Cando and Seria that you wouldn’t find in Daiso stores and has a bigger variety of Japanese food, bento accessories and character themed goods.

The majority of items in Tokutokuya are $2 but there are a few items that are more but prices are displayed clearly for these.
